Welcome to PCOS@Work!

Hi, I’m Yolandé Coetzee.

I started PCOS@Work to help women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) shine in their jobs and in their careers. And you can too.

I want to help you overcome the challenges of your job, get along with your boss and colleagues, and empower you to excel in your career. I believe in the women with PCOS!

There are two reasons why this is important to me. First, I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I understand that the PCOS struggle is a real one and a daily one. I can relate to the challenges that you are going through right now. You are not alone.

Second, I am an Industrial Psychologist (HPCSA PS0126063), or a work psychologist, which means that I can bring what I know about the field of psychology to empower you in your job and career. I believe in following a scientific and evidence-based practice to reach this goal. My focus is on how PCOS affects you at your job or in your career, and how to make sure PCOS does not get in the way of you being successful.

Ultimately, I’m inspired by women managing the symptoms of their PCOS and my products and services embody this spirit. The products are built to tap into the resilience, determination and guts that women with PCOS already show, and to help them use these characteristics to thrive in their jobs and careers. Above all else, I create with the dream of my ultimate mission: To inspire you to be the master of your PCOS@Work.

How I Can Help

As an Industrial Psychologist, I provide professional learning and development services to women living with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). Psychometric Assessment
Scientific and standardised tests are used to measure abilities, personality, motivation, etc. The assessment results provide an objective and standardised view of the person completing the test. It helps to colour in the picture of the person I am working with. My assessment services can be used by individuals or organisations, alike.
Talks
While 1-in-10 women have PCOS, many people have no idea what it means, let alone how it impacts a person at work. Companies can join other thought leaders and create awareness of PCOS through their CSR initiatives. Take care of your female workforce and book a talk today.
Consultation with organisations
Expert psychology-based consultation services for employers who would like to support and empower their female workforce. Services and hourly consultation are available and can be tailored to suit your organisation’s needs, objectives and budget.
